What areas do you cover for delivery?
We deliver, install, and collect across Chorley, Leyland, Preston, Southport, Wigan and the wider North West as standard, and can travel further afield for larger productions. Tell us your venue postcode when you request a quote and we'll confirm delivery options and any travel costs.
How are delivery fees calculated?
Delivery, installation, and collection are included in many quotes across our standard North West coverage. Where travel is outside our usual area, or where access, timing, parking, or multiple trips are involved, a travel charge may apply. We always confirm delivery costs in your quote based on your venue postcode and the props you're hiring — there are no hidden fees.
Is delivery and setup included?
Yes — our team handles transport, full installation, and collection afterwards so you don't have to lift a thing. The quote we send will show whether delivery and setup are included for your job, or if a separate travel charge applies. For smaller items, self-collection can sometimes be arranged on request.
How does pricing work?
Every hire is quoted individually. Costs depend on the props you choose, your hire dates, delivery distance, setup requirements, and whether you need delivery or collection. Add items to the quote basket on our site and send your request over — we'll reply with a clear, no-obligation breakdown of hire fees, delivery, and any deposit required.
Do you take a security deposit?
A refundable security deposit may be required on certain items or larger orders. It's held against the hire and returned once props are collected and checked, usually within a few working days. Any deductions for damage, loss, or additional cleaning are explained upfront and set out in your booking confirmation.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, especially for peak dates around Christmas, Halloween, and wedding season. As a guide we recommend 4–6 weeks' notice, but get in touch even at short notice and we'll do our best to help.
What is the minimum hire period?
Standard hire is based on a per-event basis covering the day of your event, including setup and breakdown. Longer hires for activations, installations, or film shoots are quoted individually.
Can you build bespoke or custom props?
Absolutely. Alongside our hire collection, our in-house team designs and builds custom props and set pieces to bring your specific theme to life. Share your brief and we'll scope it out with you.
What happens if a prop is damaged?
Fair wear and tear is expected. We'll walk you through care guidelines on setup, and any security deposit terms will be clear in your booking confirmation. Significant damage or loss is charged at repair or replacement cost — we'll outline how that works upfront so there are no surprises.
